Stanford Medical Student Association (SMSA)

Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA)

The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) is the nation's only organization specifically representing East and South Asian American medical students. Our mission is to bring together those who are interested in health issues that affect the Asian-American community so that we may have a strong, collective, public, and political voice. We are interested in directly promoting the health and well-being of the Asian community.

Stanford's APAMSA chapter organizes annual speaker events, provides free health services in the community, and brings speakers to campus about Asian health. We also provide an important forum for APA students to meet, exchange information and experiences and develop pesonally and professionally. For more information, contact Shane Shucheng Wong and Yi An.
