RIGS: Radiology Interest Group
The Radiology Interest Group at Stanford (RIGS) fosters interest in the field of radiology and provides advice to those who wish to pursue radiology as a career. RIGS holds events to provide medical students a better idea of what radiology is and what the various imaging specialties are, to guide those applying to residencies in this field, and to encourage women to pursue radiology; these events also allow medical students the opportunity to meet radiology physicians and residents. In addition, RIGS is a resource for those interested in research opportunities in the field of radiology.
